Gabrielė is a Lithuanian material researcher who works extensively with geo- and bio-based resources harvested directly from the landscape. By investigating clay deposits, mineral resources, and the geological expressions inherent to specific regions, she seeks to create work that combines the physiological substance and emotional qualities of place to form an expression of its terroir.

Building on the background of architectural technology, her research draws on material experimentation, artistic practise, and participatory methods to investigate the potential of locally available resources in contemporary architecture.
